Niralusha Investments is not registered with SEBI as an Investment Adviser (RIA) or a Research Analyst (RA). We act as a distributor of financial products and as an Authorised Person of a SEBI-registered stock broker. We do not provide investment advice for a fee, research reports, stock tips or buy/sell recommendations.
2. How we are paid
- Mutual funds and SIFs: we receive commissions (mainly trail commission) from Asset Management Companies on investments made through us in Regular Plans. These are included in the scheme's expense ratio. Details of commission received for your investments are shown in your Consolidated Account Statement (CAS).
- Direct Plans: every mutual fund scheme also offers a Direct Plan with a lower expense ratio and no distributor commission. You are free to invest directly with the fund house.
- PMS and AIF: we may receive a distribution fee from the Portfolio Manager or AIF manager, in line with SEBI rules. It is paid by the manager out of its own fees and is disclosed to you before you invest.
- Broking: as an Authorised Person, we receive a share of the brokerage charged by Sharekhan Ltd (Mirae Asset Sharekhan) on trades in accounts introduced by us.
Commission rates differ across fund houses and products. We will share the applicable commission structure on request.
3. Risk disclosures
Mutual Fund investments are subject to market risks, read all scheme related documents carefully.
Investments in Specialized Investment Funds are subject to market risks. SIF strategies may use derivatives, including for unhedged short exposure, and may be riskier than regular mutual fund schemes. The minimum investment is ₹10 lakh per investor across all SIF strategies of a fund house (not applicable to accredited investors).
PMS and AIF products are meant for experienced, high-net-worth investors, carry higher risk and may have limited liquidity. Minimum investment is ₹50 lakh for PMS and ₹1 crore for AIFs (subject to SEBI rules). Read the Disclosure Document, Private Placement Memorandum and agreements carefully before investing.
Investments in the securities market are subject to market risks; read all the related documents carefully before investing. Past performance is not indicative of future returns.
Risk disclosure on derivatives (as mandated by SEBI): 9 out of 10 individual traders in the equity Futures and Options segment incurred net losses, according to SEBI studies. Loss-makers on average also incurred significant transaction costs on top of their net trading losses. Trading in commodity derivatives also carries a high degree of risk.
4. Important messages for investors
- Prevent unauthorised transactions in your account: update your mobile number and email ID with your stock broker and depository participant. Receive information of your transactions directly from the exchange and depository on your mobile/email at the end of the day.
- KYC is a one-time exercise when dealing in the securities markets. Once KYC is done through a SEBI-registered intermediary (broker, DP, mutual fund, etc.), you need not repeat it with another intermediary.
- No need to issue cheques when subscribing to an IPO. Just write your bank account number and sign the IPO application form to authorise your bank to make payment in case of allotment (ASBA).
- Always make payments only to the mutual fund, fund house, portfolio manager or stock broker directly, never in cash and never to our personal accounts.
- Never share your OTP, passwords or PIN with anyone, including us.
